TIPS FOR RENTERS

The following tips and advice are aimed to help renters book more safely and confidently on the Bookthatvilla website.

 • Look carefully at the Property Details section of the owners’ property to get information about the suitability of the villa, amenities offered or anything else that may be particularly relevant to you. Check if there are separate rental contracts offered or required by the owner. Also check if the owner has a particular start day to their booking periods or if they accept short lets if that is what you require.

• If your questions are not answered satisfactorily by information supplied on the site then you are encouraged to take full advantage of the Bookthatvilla Messageboard service in order to ask further questions of the owner. Feel free to ask as many questions as you wish before you proceed with your booking.

• Credit card payments often offer a measure of insurance against problems. It is strongly recommended that renters print a copy of their booked property details and should keep safe all correspondence, including emails, in case of any dispute.

• Good holiday insurance is always recommended.  Please ensure you are adequately covered in case of either villa, flight  or other cancellation connected with your booking.
