Description
Plettenbergview is a magnificently appointed home situated high above Plettenberg Bay at the very heart of South Africa’s majestic Garden Route. Located within a security controlled nature reserve bordering the Plettenberg Bay Country Club, this residence provides unrivalled luxury for anyone looking for an idyllic stay in South Africa’s most beautiful of natural environments.

The house is beautifully decorated and fully equipped with all modern appliances, crockery, cutlery, linen, Dstv, Dvd and a state of the art entertainment system which can be isolated to certain areas of the house.

The house sleeps 10 persons comfortably and has underfloor heating throughout as well as heated towel rails and marble vanities in all the bathrooms.

Large sliding doors lead out onto the entertainment area, with magnificent views afforded of the sea below and the Robberg Peninsula and mountains.

The rim flow pool and 6 seater jacuzzi / spabath are surrounded by sofas, pool loungers and a built in "braai"/BBQ area. Privilege, our housekeeper, sees to all the cleaning and washing up and works 6 days a week or according to individual client requirements.

With its own entrance the separate flatlet has a double en-suite bedroom, lounge, Dstv and fully equipped kitchen. Beach games, board games, cooler boxes and "body boards" are all at your disposal. There is ample parking as well as a double garage and carport.

The dining room seats eight, and has its own patio with an additional table and chairs for either outdoor dining or additional seating. The "Euroline" kitchen with its breakfast "nook", pantry and scullery is very spacious, with double fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher.

The kitchen boasts both granite and solid Iroko wood surfaces. The lounge is very spacious with two separate very comfortable seating areas with a fireplace and bar, complete with fridges, mixing bowls and all glassware.

All bedrooms are en-suite and have plentiful amounts of cupboard space. Parquet floors throughout all the bedrooms.

Besides the normal leisure activities such as golf (we have two of the best courses on the Garden Route), tennis, and horse riding, there are also a host of other activities available. These include:

* The capital of South African Polo.
* Guided ferry trips up the Keurbooms River and view the spectacular forests from the comfort of the ferry
* This is a bird watchers paradise. More than 260 species have been sited in this area.
* Two and four hour walks on the 350 million year old Robberg Peninsula, which has recently been declared a national monument.
* Visit Monkey Land, a unique primate sanctuary.
* Mountain bike trails through the forests.
* Numerous walks in and around Plettenberg Bay.
