Bookthatvilla Cancellation Policy

Cancellations by Renters

Bookthatvilla do not accept any responsibility for cancelled bookings between villa owners and renters. Bookthatvilla only act as an intermediary allowing villa owners to advertise their villas on Bookthatvilla.com and renters to make contact with villa owners in order to make bookings.

In the unfortunate event of a cancellation Renters must promptly notify  the Owner directly and immediately. In respect of a Cancellation by the Renter, the Renter is not entitled to a refund of any monies paid. Owners shall use reasonable endeavours to offer the Renter an alternative Booking date and/ or to re-advertise and re-let the dates affected by the Cancellation. In the event that the dates affected by the Cancellation are re-let the Owner will refund the Renter accordingly in respect of the Cancellation.

Bookthatvilla strongly recommends that both Renters and Owners should:

(i) maintain insurance against potential losses that may be caused by Cancellations and (ii) print copies of all correspondence, including emails, in case of disputes.
